Best Shoulder Opener Yet
This little movement not only opens the shoulder joint and shoulder girdle, it straightens the posture at the same time because the shoulders naturally fall back into place. Standing with your side facing a wall, stretch out your arm and place the palm on the wall (like you're telling traffic to stop), fingers straight up to the ceiling. Then gently turn your body in with your chest moving around towards your arm, then gently turn your body away from your arm while the arm remains extended. Change the position of your hand so the fingers are facing forward, then back, then down towards the floor and repeat the rotation of your trunk in towards and out away from the arm. Feel the delicious, gradual opening of all those tight little fibers while the joint in the wrist, elbow, and shoulder release and reset.
There will be awesome illustrations of this one in the book coming out later this year.
